Do you love Love?
Do you hate pants?

At the time, Dating Naked was one of those shows we couldn’t really believe was getting made and put on the air. When it came time to promote it, it was one of those yes-to-anything situations, because why not? We conceived and developed this awesome side-scroller that you could play in your birthday suit or your regular suit. We brought in New York Chiptune pop-rockers Anamanaguchi to complete the whole late-80’s thing we had going on here.

“There’s no brief. Ever.
Go make stuff we like.
That’s the brief.”

My partner and I pitched, assembled and ran a cross-department content
creation team. A few years ago, the number of eyes on VH1’s socials began
to explode and it became tough to keep pace with new stuff. It was quick, it was
cheap, it was, as we all like to say, “scrappy,” and it was a lot of fun. The animated
rockstar interviews elsewhere in my book were kind of our crowning achievement.
(They might also be what ultimately got us disbanded?) But the showrunners and
talent always loved the work we did for them.
